Response to Pre-Reading Page 95

Being poor is not something that we certainly choose, but caring on our genetics should be the result of our own decisions.  No government has the right to buy our behavior with tax payer’s dollars. On the same way of thinking, we could also ask the government to give people extra money so they decide to go to school and not participate in any violent act, or pay people so they won’t consume drugs or alcohol. Our government was created in order to make sure our constitution is being respected, and not to influence the way its citizens life their life.
