Life at Work (part one) 153

Generating something together can be a tremendous way of building relationships in our workplace. I have always had a reputation of being someone who bring people together and find ways to solve problems, rather than complaining about them.
It was my second dance season in my former company. We had a new artistic director with a new vision that would definitely take the organization to a whole new level of excitement and interaction with the public. It was then, when he decided to significantly increased the number of shows and practice sections. I started to notice that, due to the demanding rehearsal and performance schedule, many of my co-workers were getting injured faster than normal, and because of that, the quality of the shows started to decline. After talking to all the dancers, and inquiring about their situations and opinions, I decided to direct a petition to our board of directors.
